Josh and Luke promise to reveal the truth about Block cheating scandal

As The Block builds come to an end, controversial twins Luke and Josh have promised to lift the lid on the cheating scandal plaguing the teams.

After weeks of animosity between the five teams of The Block regarding the explosive production schedule drama, controversial twins Luke and Josh say they’re ready to come clean.

Sticking a final boot in to the show after a fiery season, the former Love Island stars will sit down for a camera confessional next week to tell their side of the story, they promised in Sunday’s room reveal.

In a snippet aired in the final minutes of the episode, they said they have “some more things they want to talk about”, referring to the top secret Block production schedule photo that was used by Tanya and Vito and Luke and Josh to get ahead of the other teams and cheat earlier in the season.

Up until now, the twins and Tanya and Vito have maintained they were not the ones to sneak into Scott Cam’s office and take the snap, with Tanya instead claiming it was sent to her by an anonymous texter.

Josh and Luke said they're ready to 'get something off their chests.'

“Obviously we know the truth. We feel now is the time to say it,” said Josh.

During Sunday’s episode, Luke and Josh added that they intended to try to get judges Neale Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer fired from the show after receiving weeks of low scores.

Tanya has long claimed the production schedule photo was sent to her by an anonymous texter.

The boys were slammed with brutal feedback from the judges regarding their design choices almost every week, never failing to viciously hit back to the producers with fiery insults.

During tonight’s episode, the twins were convinced they had front yard week in the bag, having engaged landscape architect Myles Baldwin for advice.

Their design was comprised of floating steps lit from underneath leading to the front door of their contemporary build.

“Myles Baldwin is one of the best landscape architects in Australia. On his resume he’s got Cate Blanchett, Rupert Murdoch,” Luke had confidently told producers earlier in the week.

“For us to get him on The Block is a huge scoop,” he added, calling the end result “impeccable” ahead of the judges’ walk-through.

While the steps were undoubtedly impressive, with Shaynna Blaze in particular marvelling at the kerbside appeal and gushing over the choice, they were still no match for frontrunners Kirsty and Jesse and Mitch and Mark, who ended up winning the Ford Puma by one point.

And it all came down to a minor detail.

Delivering the feedback, Scott Cam told the boys: “Darren Palmer reckons this garden represents the very best of what you’ve delivered inside … But, what he did find really weird was the white brick wall.”

Commenting on the inclusion, Darren said: “That wall is extremely rustic and there is not one rustic note throughout the house.”

Luke asserted that the judges 'clearly don't know what they're talking about' when it came to their fence.

True to form, the boys were furious.

“It’s actually a very modern look now. That mist white brick.

“They don’t understand that that mist brick when it’s painted white creates shadow lines and it’s an architectural feature.

“It’s very modern, very slick, to say that’s a rustic look, they clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.”

The judges went on to again slam the boys’ early decision to swap the double garage to create the master suite despite countless words of advice against the flip.

They mused that it might mean they’ll struggle to find a buyer to whom it will appeal come auction day.

Speaking to producers, the boys said they felt “embarrassed”.

“The show will never get someone with the resume of Myles Baldwin,” said Josh, as Luke was filmed telling someone on the phone they’d have “the last laugh” on auction day, adding that they want to get the judges “off the show” by proving them wrong.

After a tumultuous season, all five teams will finally go to auction next Sunday night.
