Block enemies Mitch and Mark, and Tanya and Vito chased each other around The Block in a jaw-dropping new confrontation.

The Block contestants erupt in ugliest fight yet

If there’s one word to sum up this high-drama season of The Block, it’s cheating.

Ever since that cheating scandal early on in the season, the contestants have been on high alert, ready to pounce on any supposed infraction from their competitors – and it’s led to some fiery stoushes.

The latest happened in Sunday’s episode of the show, as All-Star contestants Mitch and Mark prowled around Bronte Court early on a Saturday morning, telling off the other teams’ builders for arriving before the site’s 9am weekend start time.

Tanya and Vito’s builder Andrew copped a particularly fiery dressing down from the pair: “Tanya and Vito are in bed, they should be out here f***ing working and not having you out here doing it for them. It’s not fair – we work our guts out. I’ve had enough,” Mark told him.

The builder soon told Tanya and Vito about the telling-off – and the usually mild-mannered Vito couldn’t hold it in any longer, storming over to Mitch and Mark’s house with a camera crew in tow for a good old-fashioned reality TV showdown.

“What is your problem? Why give Andrew a hard time?” he asked the duo, who were in the process of reporting the early arrivals to foreman Keith. “It’s just pathetic. Pathetic people, you are.”

Mitch and Mark told him to leave immediately – but Mitch then followed behind for another confrontation. “I’m going to go and chase that f***er up,” he said, as Mark ran behind, begging him not to: “Mitch! Mitch! Mitch! There is no point to this,” he warned.

The pair then continued their argument over at the on-site cafe, Mitch telling Vito: “I’m not used to being spoken to like you speak to people.”

“Really? That’s the first time I’ve ever even spoken to you,” said Vito.

“I’ve heard about your aggressiveness,” said Mitch, a claim which earned an incredulous laugh from Tanya.

Mark then joined the confrontation, telling the pair off for having their trades on-site early.

“But the thing is, you’re not the boss, Mark,” said Tanya.

“You guys took a photograph of the schedule in f***ing week one and f***ed everything up,” Mark shot back, bringing up the cheating scandal that’s loomed over the couple all season.

Tanya threw out a bold claim about the season’s first cheating scandal.

From there, the fight got even more convoluted, with Tanya making the brand new claim that Mitch and Mark’s builder Jason was the one who circulated the photo that’s caused so much trouble this season – a claim she backtracked on moments later when Jason confronted her.

“Tanya just lied again. How many lies can you keep telling? How many lies?” Mark fumed as the two couples finally went their separate ways.

Elsewhere in Sunday’s episode, more cheating allegations, this time levelled at Kirsty and Jesse. Love Island twins Luke and Josh led the charge, calling a body corporate meeting to demand an explanation as to how the couple could afford to get their enormous backyard landscaped.

Kirsty and Jesse explained they’d saved money throughout the entire season, leaned heavily on sponsors and had scored some huge cash wins that were helping pay for the mammoth space. The twins called for an audit of the couple’s finances – but it didn’t pass a vote.

And Kirsty and Jesse got the last laugh: Later in the episode, the judges absolutely adored their backyard, awarding it the week’s win.
