Charlotte Crosby tells The Project panel she has an ‘infection down there’
Charlotte Crosby made a frank confession on The Project – and given the star’s propensity to overshare, it’s difficult to tell if she was joking.
She may have left the jungle pink knickers in hand, but Charlotte Crosby’s lack of filter is still giving Australian viewers plenty to laugh about.
She managed to make the entire Project panel blush with one swift revelation.
Appearing on the program post-eviction to discuss the word on everyone’s lips – her jungle romance with Ryan Gallagher – the star gave the hosts a little more than they bargained for, revealing she had “an infection down there” which was preventing her getting intimate with Ryan.

“We have all been intrigued in your relationship with Ryan, it looks like love but if that is the case why don’t you want him to go back to the UK with you?,” Lisa Wilkinson asked.
Not missing a beat, the star gave a response that had the panel in stitches.
“Obviously he is here now and we spent last night together – nothing like you think, I’ve got some infections down there which you can’t really go there at the moment,” she said, flashing a cheeky grin.
“So at the weekend there’s going to be some fireworks, I tell you now! Give us two more days with the cream!,” she added.
Going on to discuss the future of her relationship with Ryan, UK-based Charlotte referenced the slightly-awkward televised discussion about how they’d make things work, in which she seemingly shut down Ryan’s suggestion he’d move to the UK with her.
“Listen, I want to live in Australia, so I’d prefer me to go there than him to come to England. It’s very drab in England, there’s always rain, there’s nothing to do,” she said.
Speaking to news.com.au from South Africa the morning after her eviction, Charlotte scoffed at the suggestion her interest in Ryan was anything but genuine.
“I find it so strange when people say it’s not genuine. If two people go into a camp who are single and attracted to each other, what’s not genuine about that? You think we’re supposed to not speak or flirt because it might be conceived as a ‘showmance’? Ryan is a massively attractive man, AND he’s single, so why on earth would I not go there?” she said.
For those already missing Charlotte’s refreshing no-filter approach to reality TV stardom, never fear – we may not have seen the last of her on our screens.
While she was quick to shut down any program with “love involved”, on The Project tonight, Charlotte didn’t rule out a second crack at Australian reality television.
“I would like to go on Dancing With The Stars and The Masked Singer,” she said, to which host Rachel Corbett asked, “Oh, can you sing?”
“No, no, no, come on, I’ve got to keep some things under my belt. Remember I’m just a talentless reality star – I can’t give everything away!,” the bubbly Brit teased.
After the whirlwind interview, Lisa Wilkinson awkwardly joked to her co-hosts: “That was a bit more information than we were planning on.”
“A bit more than we expected,” Pete van Onselen agreed.
The I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here finale airs Sunday night at 7.30pm on Ten.
