Channel 10’s The Challenge releases first promo ahead of November premiere
Channel 10’s upcoming new show The Challenge has released its first promo, and there looks to be plenty of drama for viewers to sink their teeth into.
Cyclone Cyrell is back.
The former MAFS contestant looks to be bringing the drama to a new network if the latest promo for Channel 10’s The Challenge is anything to go by.
Cyrell Paule, who was embroiled in the infamous 2019 wine fight of Channel 9’s controversial social experiment, is just one familiar face in the reality TV star-packed cast of The Challenge, which has released its first promo today.

Filmed earlier this year in Argentina, the show also stars Brooke Blurton, Brittany Hockley, Ciarran Stott and Emily Seebohm, to name a few.
It’s also the show on which Megan Marx and Abbie Chatfield’s ex Konrad Bien allegedly hooked up shortly before news of their break up came out.
In the promo, a steamy spa scene hints viewers will see the fling play out for themselves.
Awkwardly, Brooke Blurton, whose season of The Bachelorette Konrad first appeared on, seems to cop it in full view.
Elsewhere in the promo, podcast host Brittany Hockley appears to wade into a clash with an unseen contestant, and Cyrell Paul is seen hurling out expletives with a wine in hand.
The competition will see contestants randomly paired to clash head-to-head in physical contests, win challenges and eliminate their opponents to ultimately take out the $200,000 cash prize.
The full line-up of “celebs” was dropped in September, with Ten mercilessly mocked over who was to compete.
Touting the list of cast members as “Australia’s most talked-about celebrities” was met with some derision, given a number of the“stars” on offer are, for the most part, former reality TV contestants.
“Incredibly proud to say I cannot name a single person there,” one person tweeted in response to Ten’s announcement.
“Reported to the ACCC for false advertising … Some of these ‘celebs’ have less followers than my old account,” said another.
“I literally know a grand total of zero of these people. Did you run an AI to generate these images?” another asked of the cast line-up.
“Australia’s most talked about celebs? Who are 95% of these people,” tweeted another person.
The show is a tried-and-tested international format, having aired 38 seasons in other countries.
