Love Island twins Luke and Josh have been dealt another belting from the judges after leaving their home a “pigsty” for Sunday’s room reveal – this time landing them at the bottom of the ladder with one of the lowest scores in Block history.

All five teams were faced with the mammoth task of completing four rooms this week, with the boys seemingly declaring the challenge too hard and failing to clean up their site before the judges came through.

Walking through the garage – which they were mildly impressed with – Block judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Neale Whitaker were shocked to see the twins’ eyesore of a rendered fireplace, unfinished, along with piles of rubbish all over their furniture.

Shielding her eyes in disgust, Shaynna gasped after walking in behind Darren and Neale, who were similarly confused.

“What the hell?” yelled Darren on seeing the fireplace and the filthy mess around it.

“What have they done? … I’d say that is appalling,” said Shaynna, while Neale labelled the fireplace “beyond ugly” and Darren added, simply: “Horrendous.”

“Where is the bloody respect?” asked Neale, adding that it made him “so angry” to see such a lack of effort.

As Scott Cam delivered the feedback to the twins – remarking that the judges were worried about the potential damage to furniture by the piles of building debris – the twins were suitably defensive.

“I checked for damage and there was none,” Luke said.

But back at the room reveal, the horror didn’t stop there.

Stepping carefully through the mess to the boys’ completed basement – a wine bar – the judges were baffled by their design choices.

“There’s no plumbing, no fridge … and why would you have carpet?” Shaynna said.

Wiping his finger along the bar, Darren added that the space was “filthy”.

“Nothing functions,” Neale said.

A study/sunroom which Shaynna likened to a “doctor’s waiting room” elicited similar shocked gasps, as did an oddly narrow ensuite with an “unusable” shower, which Darren suggested they should remove altogether.

“I sort of feel like we’re in this festering pit of negativity here,” Shaynna concluded of the walk-through, while Neale shook his head muttering that it was an “absolute disaster”.

Shrugging off the damning review, Josh told producers: “If Neale wants to try to complete four areas in a week I can give him the brush and see how he goes.”

“I’d love to watch him paint, so until that day, he can shut up,” Luke said.

True to form, the boys were livid at the judges over their scores and feedback.

Of the judges’ deduction that the boys had “given up” on the competition, Luke fumed: “We don’t quit. They can get f***ed.”

When it came time for the scores, they were given threes from Darren and Shaynna, while Neale hit them with a two, for a total of just eight out of a possible 30.

Yikes.

“I have nothing to say to them. It’s completely disrespectful and they can get f***ed,” Luke echoed of the scoring.

Elsewhere, frontrunners Ronnie and Georgia picked up the $10,000 win for the week with a total score of 27.
