Ali Oetjen reveals disgusting detail about the toilet situation on SAS Australia
SAS Australia viewers were horrified when the recruits got covered in human waste while emptying the contents of their communal toilet during Monday night’s episode of the show.
SAS Australia viewers were left horrified when the recruits were caught in a gross incident while emptying the contents of their makeshift toilet during Monday night’s episode of the show.
Ali Oetjen, who ended up leaving on Tuesday’s episode, was one of the recruits who got covered in waste during the cleaning duities along with Candice Warner, Firass Dirani, and Shannan Ponton.
But it turns out that wasn’t the worst part.

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O show, the 34-year-old revealed she didn’t shower afterwards, despite not having any protective gear on, like gloves and a face shield.
“I think we (she and Candice) weren’t meant to be helping as much as we were, but we did. I think we weren’t supposed to be as close to the sh**,” she laughed.
Kyle asked what happened when it splashed on them, with Ali explaining that the waste went “everywhere”.
When Jackie O asked if they were able to shower, she replied, “No, not a cold shower or a hot shower.”
Jackie O was in disbelief, asking her if she really wasn’t able to shower after the incident. Ali answered with a bleak, “Definitely not.”
“We did have soap though, we could wash out hands,” Ali said, laughing.
During the same interview, Kyle Sandilands got emotional and apologised to the reality star for being part of the media who had laughed at her in the past.
Since 2018, Kyle has made numerous references on air to an incident between Ali and her ex-boyfriend Grant Kemp.
The couple, who met on Bachelor In Paradise, broke up when Grant allegedly caught Ali in a compromising position with a friend of his.

Ali has been haunted by Grant’s claims in the years since, and on Channel 7’s SAS Australia this week she opened up about the pressure of being a public figure.
“I went through a huge part of my life being really anxious,” she said through tears on the show. “Just being in the spotlight, not knowing how to deal with it.”
Ali was a guest on Kyle and Jackie O this morning, and Kyle took the opportunity to apologise to Ali for poking fun at her on radio.

“I was watching it (SAS Australia) by myself on the chair at home and I teared up when you started crying because I thought, Jesus, I’m part of that culture that talked about you, shone the spotlight on things you might not have wanted to talk about,” Kyle said.
“I felt, for the first time ever, very remorseful about my part in that.
“I just wanted to let you know … I felt like a piece of sh*t for doing what I did, because a lot of that sh*t that people were talking about happened on this show,” he said. “So I just wanted to say from where I am to you, that I regret that.
“I didn’t realise you were going through such a tough time.”
Jackie O seemed stunned by her co-host’s apology and pointed out, ‘You’re crying.”
“Yeah, it’s a sh*t thing,” Kyle said about his behaviour in the past. “It felt fun at the time but you don’t realise until you see someone getting emotional about it and you think, ‘Oh, hang on a second, these are real people.’
“You forget sometimes people on TV are real human beings,” he said.
Ali, who quit SAS Australia in Tuesday night’s episode, was audibly moved by Kyle’s apology and simply replied, “Thank you.”
