Kyle Sandilands and Imogen Anthony react to rumours they’ve split

The shock jock and his girlfriend have responded to claims their relationship is over amid rumours they’ve been growing apart.

Kyle Sandilands and Imogen Anthony have publicly reacted to rumours they’ve ended their eight-year relationship.

The radio shock jock, 48, and his girlfriend, 28, were the subject of a report in New Idea this week that alleged they’d called it quits after a period of living “separate lives”.

But from the couple’s response, it’s clear that story couldn’t be further from the truth.

On Monday, Imogen uploaded a photo on Instagram of herself straddling a mask-wearing Kyle on a couch, adding the caption: “You got that odd kinda love that I like.” 8 years, still counting and they are still trying to rock this b**ch, come ON!! Get it together idiots.”

Kyle also slammed the report on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday, labelling the magazine “rubbish”.

“Oh no, it’s a terrible day but luckily I have chocolate cake to make it all wash down easier!” he told co-host Jackie O sarcastically.

“I don’t understand why people buy that rubbish (New Idea). It should be called Fantasy magazine, where it’s just fantasy stories in there.”

Imogen and Kyle are still going strong.

Kyle and Imogen first revealed their relationship in 2011, shortly after the radio star’s 40th birthday.

Last year, the model opened up about the life they’ve built together, describing them as “the same person”.

“Social media has a perception of showing you what you want to see … but for us, there is a lot of sitting around doing f***ing nothing,” she told news.com.au.

“We have quiet nights all the time … that’s all we do is quiet nights, like sitting in front of Netflix where we have shows we watch constantly.

“But we have things being constant too. We have a farm, he’s up at 4.30am, so it can be a bit crazy.”
