The KIIS FM radio employee who was allegedly confronted by Jacob Elordi has claimed the Hollywood star “pushed me against the wall” and “grabbed my throat”.

Kyle and Jackie O Showproducer Joshua Fox, 32, was sent to Sydney hotspot the Clovelly Hotel on Saturday afternoon to get a story after the radio station heard Elordi, 26, was in the venue’s beer garden.

Brisbane-born Elordi – who is currently one of the most in-demand young stars in showbiz– is being investigated by NSW police following an alleged altercation between the pair, which reportedly started after Elordi became frustrated Fox was filming him.

Audio from the incident was played on-air Monday, in which Fox is heard approaching Elordi with an empty jar, requesting he fill it with his bathwater and “send it to the studio” for the show’s co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson - referencing a controversial scene involving Elordi’s character in the hit movie Saltburn.

“You’re kidding,” Elordi is heard responding, before asking, “Are you filming?”

Fox then confirms he is, prompting the actor to plead: “Can you not man, please?”

Fox later went on-air to claim things went south after he stopped filming.

“He [Elordi] kind of gets up in my face... He’s a lot taller than me. I could’ve kissed him he was that close,” Fox said.

“I’m backed against a wall, he’s right in my face and his two boys [friends] are beside me. It was kind of scary.

“I’m feeling quite intimated, and Jacob demands I delete the footage.”

Fox claimed he agreed to delete the footage, telling the actor the joke “didn’t land” so there was “nothing to use.”

“A switch went off and he’s become quite aggressive. He goes, ‘Go into your recently deleted [folder]’,” Fox continued.

“I’m thinking, if I delete this footage, there’s no evidence this encounter happened. So then I refused to [delete it].

Despite reports suggesting Fox filed a police report at the local station, the radio staffer claims police contacted him and he’s yet to agree to file a statement.

“I don’t like the attention. Once the media were involved, the main detective was phoning me saying, ‘We’ve seized CCTV, given it’s high profile, it’s going to get a lot of attention and we want to be ready if you do wish to make a statement’.”

Elordi is yet to comment and no charges have been laid.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford also addressed the story on Seven’s Sunrise on Monday, where he pointed out Elordi was “clearly upset that the filming had already commenced.

“I don’t think he liked the question either … So it was a problem as to the way it was handled,” Ford said.

The journalist then pointed out the incident could potentially have wider employment complications for the US-based actor if charges are laid.

“This could have massive implications for him in terms of his working visas in the United States,” Ford explained.

“Jacob is at the moment the most talked about hot, young star in the world so he can’t afford to have anything go wrong.”
