Today show host Tom Steinfort weds style editor Claudia Jukic

Today show newsreader Tom Steinfort and style editor Claudia Jukic have said “I do” at a destination wedding in Croatia.

Today show host Tom Steinfort has tied the knot with his style editor partner Claudia Jukic in the picturesque town of Hvar, Croatia.

The couple exchanged vows today at baroque cathedral St Stephen’s, which proudly overlooks the historic port town square.

After the couple said “I do”, a reception at the 16th century Hvar Fortress followed, setting the backdrop for photos of the pair dancing in the street to a traditional Croatian band.

Tom donned a classic dark suit while Claudia wore a full-length, pleated off-the-shoulder dress by New York-based designer Danielle Frankel.

Guests included close family and friends, with Tom’s Channel 9 colleagues notably absent.

Tom joined the Today show’s new line-up this year following Karl Stefanovic, Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys’ shock sackings.

While his co-hosts Deb Knight, Georgie Gardner and Brooke Boney did not attend the destination wedding, last week, Deb sent the newlywed off on air during a special celebration.

“Send us some wonderful pictures, we want to see you dressed up to the nines,” the anchor told her colleague.

The breakfast show then gave the journalist a hamper sponsored by department store David Jones — a fitting gift seeing as Tom’s new wife Claudia is the style editor of the store’s magazine, JONES.

During the send-off, Georgie made a subtle reference to the recent shake-up to the hosting panel.

“Thank you very much and you’ll see me on the other side,” Tom said.

“You are coming back?” a nervous Georgie responded to laughs from the panel.

Stefanovic was infamously dumped from the program while on honeymoon following his lavish Mexican wedding to second wife Jasmine Yarbrough.

Tom took over from Sylvia Jeffreys, who is married to Karl’s brother Peter Stefanovic, as newsreader on the popular morning show.

Tom proposed to Claudia 14 months ago on a boat while holidaying in Croatia, ahead of joining the Today panel at the start of this year.

The two were introduced by mutual friends in 2017.
