Sharon Osbourne has reportedly received an eight-figure payout after quitting the US talk show, The Talk.

CBS said the 68-year-old showbiz veteran, who had been on the panel for over a decade, “decided to leave The Talk following an internal review into alleged racism.

A source has told Page Six that Osbourne negotiated an unbelievable exit deal which allowed her to spin that it was her decision to leave, as well as receiving a payout between $6.5 million and $13 million.

A separate source told the publication that Osbourne’s departure contract also allows her to speak out against the network.

“Sharon will talk when she is ready,” the source said.

“She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets.”

It comes following a heated segment on The Talk earlier this month, when Osbourne had an on-air meltdown as she defended Piers Morgan over his relentless stance on Meghan Markle.

Osbourne was seen snapping at her black co-host Sheryl Underwood as the pair discussed whether Morgan’s outbursts at the Duchess of Sussex were racist.

“I will ask you again, Sheryl – I’ve been asking you during the break, and I’m asking you again. And don’t try and cry, because if anyone should be crying, it should be me,” Osbourne warned her co-host.

“You tell me, educate me, when you have heard (Piers) say racist things. Educate me! Tell me!” she screamed, as her co-host calmly offered an explanation in response.

“It is not the exact words of racism, it’s the implication and the reaction to it. To not want to address that because she was a black woman, to try and dismiss it, that’s what makes it racist,” said Underwood.

Osbourne copped backlash from viewers, with CBS putting the show on hiatus for two days while it conducted an investigation.

When announcing Osbourne’s departure on March 27, CBS said: “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home.

“We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts. At the same time, we acknowledge the network and studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast as it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race.”

Osbourne posted a public apology on Friday, March 12, tweeting that she felt “panicked” and “blindsided” that people might think she was racist, so she “got defensive and allowed my fear and horror of being accused of being racist take over. There are very few things that hurt my heart more than racism so to feel associated with that spun me fast! I am not perfect, I am still learning like the rest of us and will continue to learn, listen and do better.”

Days later, she doubled down on claims she was set up by her co-hosts during the discussion.

She told Entertainment Tonight what unfolded on air was a betrayal from her co-hosts after a pact they made in February never to surprise each other with questions.

“I feel like this was the biggest set-up ever, and I’m falling into it and I’m going deeper down this hole,” she said.
