‘Miss Fisher’, aka Essie Davies, will star in upcoming season of Game of Thrones
SHE’S a regular appearance in Australia’s most celebrated dramas. So who has been picked up to star in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones?
AUSSIE actor Essie Davies will join the cast of next season’s Game of Thrones.
According to Variety, Davies will play a version of Cersei Lannister in the upcoming season.
The actor is best known for playing the sassy and charming Miss Phryne Fisher in ABC’s crime drama, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and has become increasingly visible on the international screen.
Davies has also starred in popular Aussie series such as The Slapand Cloudstreet, as well as playing a grief-stricken widow in the Sundance-feted horror film The Babadook.
She is also known for her work in two Matrix sequels.
Davies joins recently announced new Game of Thrones actors Ian McShane, Pilou Asbæk and Freddie Stroma.
