Game of Thrones star Kit Harington opens up about losing his virginity

KIT Harington has opened up about when — and how — he lost his virginity, claiming it was probably a bit premature.

GAME of Thrones star Kit Harington has gotten very candid about his sex life, detailing the circumstances under which he lost his virginity at a very young age.

In an Elle interview published this week, the 30-year-old British actor described it as happening much sooner than his character Jon Snow’s famous experience on the hit show.

“Mine was a little less left-field than in a cave,” Harington said, referring to the scene on Game of Thrones. “It was a typical sort of teenage thing, at a party. I was probably too young.”

When pressed if he was 13 years old at the time, he replied: “No, but you’re not far off.

“I think the girl and I just kind of wanted to. You either hold on and do it right, or you’re young and decide to get the monkey off your back.”

The actor is currently dating his former onscreen love interest, Rose Leslie, who played wildling Ygritte on the show — the character who took Jon Snow’s virginity in a cave.

In May last year, Harington described to Italian Men’s Vogue magazine how the pair’s friendship transformed into romance while they were filming season two in Iceland.

“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said in an interview with L’Uomo Vogue. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
