Game of Thrones fans furious at bad CGI effects in Lena Headey’s naked walk of shame
GAME of Thrones fans are outraged by the treatment of Lena Headey’s Cersei — but not because of the brutality of her naked walk of penance.
LENA Headey is being tipped as a hot contender for an Emmy award since her powerful walk of shame in the Game of Thrones season finale — but she may want to consider sharing that glory with a faceless other.
Headey’s Cersei was forced to atone for her sins by dramatically walking naked and bruised through a crowd yelling obscenities and throwing faeces.
Fans were outraged — but not just because of the brutality.
Sleuthing viewers were quick to notice that Cersei’s body didn’t quite match up with Headey’s.
Now the conversation around one of the most torturous scenes has turned to her body as fans refused to be taken as fools and embarked on some detective work.
Much of that included discussions of her boobs and comparisons to her work in previous roles and photo shoots.
“I thought the (breasts) were too good to be true,” one user commented.
“When the boobs got bigger, it was the body double. Lena doesn’t have much assets,” wrote another.

Other users were more measured in their comments, remarking that the digital edits superimposing Headey’s face were poor, the skin tones were mismatched, the face outlines were blurry and the head was “pretty freaking round”.
Some also pointed out she was likely pregnant at the time of filming — and there was certainly no sign of a baby bump in that taut bod.

But Headey, 41, had already confirmed she used a body double for most of the humiliating scene.
She told Entertainment Weekly the sequence took three long days to shoot in which she and her double had to recreate each step of the walk.
Still, that doesn’t mean fans can’t voice their disappointment that the show makers — who manage to make dragons look terrifyingly real — can’t seem to get their body double technology right.
What was up with the weird CGI effect used for Cersei's walk of shame? Come on @GameOfThrones you could have done better! #CerseiLanister

The dragon CGI was more believable than the Cersei body double CGI.
