Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington whose character Jon Snow died arrives in Belfast as season six gets underway
POSSIBLE spoilers: IT’S been 37 days since the shocking finale of Game of Thrones. So why has actor Kit Harington joined the rest of the cast in Belfast?
IT HAS been 37 days since Jon Snow died at the finale of the fifth season of HBO’s smash hit TV fantasy drama Game of Thrones.
But is Snow, played by English actor Kit Harington, really dead?
Game of Thrones’ director David Nutter confirmed that Snow’s dead, even telling a concerned US President Barack Obama that he’s dead. Harington himself has stated that Jon Snow is dead.
However Harington was seen arriving in Belfast as actors’ begun their script read-through for the keenly-anticipated sixth season due to hit screens next April.
And don’t forget Harington was watching the tennis at Wimbledon sporting a Jon Snow hairstyle.
Harington was spotted by fan site Watchers on the Wall, on a flight from London to Belfast — the show is filmed in Northern Ireland — with actor Tom Wlaschiha, who plays the mysterious Jaqen H’ghar in Game of Thrones.

The picture is the biggest indication that Kit will still play a role in GoT despite Jon Snow seemingly stabbed to death by his mates in the Night’s Watch.
Fans who bumped into Harington claimed that he refused to take pictures because he “wasn’t allowed”.
This is in stark (excuse me) contrast to Harington’s own words in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“I had a sit-down with Dan (Weiss) and David (Benioff), we did the Tony Soprano walk (letting an actor know they’re being whacked). And they said, ‘Look, you’re gone, it’s done.’”
Harington even added that he was annoyed about an article that stated that he was getting a raise for season six and had even been optioned for season seven.
“I don’t know where it came from, but it was inaccurate in many ways. It’s going to put questions into your head and into fans’ heads that things are not what they are.
“Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, ’This is how it is.’
“If anything in the future is not like that, then I don’t know about it — it’s only in David and Dan and George’s heads.
“But I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really.”
