Dr Chris Brown awkwardly serenades Megan Marx on The Project after her sensational Bachelor exit
DR Chris Brown has wasted no time hitting on Megan Marx on The Project after her shock Bachelor exit.
MEGAN Marx has become one of the country’s most eligible women after walking out on Richie Strahan on The Bachelor this week.
It’s something Dr Chris Brown was clearly aware of, if his cringe-worthy attempt to woo the 27-year-old during an appearance on The Project is anything to go by.
The Bondi Vet, who was filling in for regular co-host Waleed Aly last night, sent social media into a frenzy with his overt flirting with the blonde beauty, who was previously married at just 18.
He told Marx: “The way I see it, Megan, is you’ve got life experience. You were married quite young. You came at this show from a different angle to most of the other girls. The way I see it, you know love, and you know what love is.”
He then launched into an appallingly bad rendition of Foreigner’s cult classic song I Want To Know What Love Is, while co-hosts Peter Helliar, Natasha Belling and Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald laughed along with Marx.
“You can be shown what love is, Megan. That’s what I’m saying,” Brown added.
Peter Helliar then jumped in for clarification.
“Are you serenading right now? Are you single?” he asked the veterinarian.
“I’m speaking from the heart, Pete, that’s what I’m doing,” Brown replied.
“I see a fragile heart, I see a fragile soul that could be mended in the right way.”
Sounds like The Bachelor could turn out to be a gateway to love for Marx after all.
