TV personality Sarah Harris has responded to rumours she is dating former I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! host, Dr Chris Brown.

The Project star, 41, addressed the speculation last night on the program, when the show’s guest, Brown’s I’m A Celeb co-host, Julia Morris, wondered why she’s never been romantically linked to the popular vet.

“How have I never been?” Morris asked the Project panel before directly telling Harris: “I know recently you have been.”

“Well, they got it wrong. I am dating a vet, but it’s Dr Harry Cooper,” Harris joked. “Have you seen vets with their hands?”

Earlier this week, on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, host Kyle Sandilands directly called Harris to get to the bottom of the rumours she and Brown were an item.

“Oh my god, no! You know my aunt called and checked as well,” she told Sandilands. “It’s hogwash.”

When he and co-host Jackie “O” Henderson asked what could’ve sparked the romance speculation, Harris was at a loss for words.

“I’ve got no idea. Oh my god, I haven’t even had my second coffee yet, you two,” she laughed. “I’m too busy and boring [for this].”

Brown has not yet commented on the rumours. Notoriously private about his love live, the vet has said in the past that he prefers not to discuss his private life in a public forum.

“The challenge is that it’s hard enough to meet the right person, anyway,” he told Stellar last month. “That extra layer of speculation and interest… once you’re actually in a relationship it’s easy, but it’s meeting that person at the start that’s really hard.”

Rumours of a romance were sparked on Sunday when The Daily Telegraph claimed Harris and Brown are now dating.

“Sources believe the woman who replaced [Carrie] Bickmore at the helm of The Project, the wholesome Harris, has fallen for the chiselled I’m A Celebrity co-host,” reported the newspaper.

Harris has been single since splitting with her husband Tom Ward in 2021, and Brown was previously linked to TV presenter Roz Kelly in 2012 and actress Kassandra Clementi in 2014.
