Bachelor in Paradise cast revealed
CHANNEL 10 has confirmed which contestants are joining the next season of Bachelor in Paradise — and it’s good news for fans.
CHANNEL 10 has confirmed that Cass Wood and Brooke Blurton will be appearing on next year’s season of Bachelor in Paradise.
The announcement was made at the network’s Upfronts on Wednesday night, which also debuted Ten’s questionable new logo.
Blurton and Wood were two of the most popular contestants on the most recent reason of The Bachelor starring Nick Cummins.
Despite industry buzz that Ten was looking at resting either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette next year, the network confirmed that both were safe — for now.
“Our line-up for the second half of 2019 includes the return of Australian Survivor Champions Vs Contenders and The Bachelor Australia,” a statement from Ten said.
“Right now, our line-up on Ten includes The Bachelorette Australia.”
I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! was also rumoured to be on the chopping block, but has been given the green light for another season premiering in January.
New show Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway will be coming to Sundays alongside The Sunday Project, which survived another year despite its flagging ratings.
Also confirmed for 2019 are Dancing with the Stars, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Blind Date, Game Of Games, Todd Sampson’s BodyHack and Playing For Keeps.
Ratings juggernaut MasterChef Australia will also be coming back, but with a slight refresh. Judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston will be supported by mentors — former contestants Poh Ling Yeow, Billie McKay and Matt Sinclair.
Ten also revealed that half of the eight shows featured during its Pilot Week have made it onto the channel’s line-up for next year — despite Kyle Sandilands’ claims only his had made the cut.
Taboo, Kinne Tonight, Trial By Kyle and Bring Back Saturday Night have been picked up for full seasons, with Sam Dastyari’s Disgrace! a notable omission after generating plenty of social media buzz.
