Chris Brown left hanging in humiliating concert gaffe

R&B singer Chris Brown’s latest concert did not go to plan – and he couldn’t hide his frustration as he hung around helplessly.

R&B singer Chris Brown was left visibly fuming during a concert this week when an aerial stunt went wrong, leaving him dangling perilously in the air.

Eventually, members of the crew had to fetch a large ladder to help him down.

Brown was performing the 2018 hit Under the Influence at a Wednesday concert in New Jersey when things started to go wrong: As dancers prowled the stage beneath him, he hung on wires above them, repeatedly motioning off stage for help.

Once he was down the ladder and on the stage, Brown continued the track – but not before appearing to shout at a crew member backstage.

The tech blunder came about midway through Brown’s mammoth, 47-song set. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Brown told the audience at the end of the show that he was angry, but also made light of the awkward gaffe.

Uh oh.

Brown is currently performing around the US on the 11:11 Tour for last year’s album of the same name.

Meanwhile, another singer suffered an unexpected on-stage moment this week: Rising pop star Chappell Roan, who broke down at her latest concert as she confessed that she was struggling to keep up with the pace of her career.

The Good Luck, Babe singer – whose debut album is rapidly rising up the charts nine months after it was originally released – told the crowd at a concert in Raleigh, North Carolina that she was having trouble adjusting to the sudden burst of interest in her music.

“I just feel a little off today, because I think my career is going really fast and it’s really hard to keep up. I’m just being honest, that I’m having a hard time today,” she said, fighting back tears.
