The rapper was once again forced to deny an ongoing rumour as he continues to drop a staggering amount of weight.

Post Malone is doubling down on the claim that he does not have substance abuse issues as fans continue to question why he’s lost so much weight.

“Hello everybody, I hope you’re having a great night,” the Rockstar rapper, 27, began in a post on Instagram written from Antwerp, Belgium.

“I wanted to say that I’m not doing drugs, I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I’d suppose, performance on stage.”

Malone then reassured his fans that he is having “a lot fun” performing on his Twelve Carat Tour and has “never felt healthier”.

The Congratulations rapper – who announced last June that he had welcomed a daughter – explained that he decided to change his diet once “dad life kicked in”.

“I decided to kick soda, and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel,” he wrote.

“Next up is smokes and brews, but I like to consider myself a patient man … lol!”

Malone also shared that he has some new projects in store as he’s been working on music in the studio and is “so excited” for his fans to listen to it.

“I just wanted to say hi, and hopefully I’ll be posting more on here, my brain is in a super dope place, and I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time,” the Better Now singer concluded before sending some words of encouragement to his followers.

“If you’re having a hard time or need some love, I can say that you’re loved more than you know, and keep f – king crushing it,” he added. “Goodnight nerds. Spread love and rock on.”

Fans and friends commended Malone in the comments section for his post, but some pointed out how they thought the musician shouldn’t have to address the concerns.

Model Tess Holliday wrote, “I’m sorry that you feel like you even gotta clarify but hey, at least you know you are loved regardless!!”

Another user agreed, “What a shame it is that you have to explain this in the first place.”

Nearly three months ago, Malone again shut down speculation that drugs had contributed to his change in weight.

A source told TMZ in February that the rapper was “not on drugs or sick” and that he had in fact been “adhering to a strict diet and working out” in order to gain a few kilos for an upcoming movie role.

In March 2020, Malone also told his followers that he was “not on drugs” after videos of him falling onstage went viral.

“I feel the best I’ve ever f***ing felt in my life,” the then-24-year-old claimed at the time, adding, “And that’s why I can bust my ass for these shows, and f***ing fall on the floor, and do all that fun sh*t.”

However, Malone has struggled with substance abuse issues in the past – particularly alcohol – and the father of one opened up about overcoming his addition in June 2022.

“It was vodka, and it was bodying fifths and trying to hang in there and talking to people who weren’t f***ing there,” Malone explained on The Howard Stern Show at the time.

He then added, “Now I just want to be better every f***ing day. All we can do is just don’t be a d***head, that’s the golden rule.”
