One Direction star’s ex makes new claim about infamous alleged incident
The ex-fiancee of singer Liam Payne has made new allegations about a shocking incident that occurred during his time in One Direction.
The ex-fiancee of Liam Payne has made a new allegation about an infamous backstage incident that’s alleged to have occured within One Direction.
Back in 2022, Payne joined Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast where he alleged that one of his bandmates “threw him up a wall,” backstage at a concert.
“There was one moment where there was an argument backstage and one member in particular threw me up a wall,” Payne shared.
“I said to him ‘if you don’t remove those hands there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again’.”
The interview proved to be a nightmare for Liam, with dozens of comments being spun into memes and prompting discussions on life inside One Direction.
While Payne never revealed which other 1D member was involved in the altercation, his ex-fiancee has now alleged their identity in a TikTok video.
“I see this all the time, everywhere, I’ve heard this insufferable story so many times … he told me it was Zayn, so,” claimed Payne’s ex, Maya Henry.
Fans flocked to the comment section to share their shock at Maya’s claim.
“Maya you did NOT just drop this lore on a random Saturday???!!!” one user wrote.
“Knew Zayn was my favorite for a reason ugh so proud,” another fan commented.
“‘I thought Louis, I thought Harry, the way we all knew it was absolutely not Niall [Horan],” another TikToker wrote.
Payne and Henry starting dating around 2019. She was 18 and he was 26, fresh from his break-up with singer Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares his son Bear. They got engaged in 2020, broke up in 2021 and got back together in 2022, but then called it quits for good all in the same year.
In the lengthy follow-up video, Henry accused her ex of weaponising his fan base and attempting to contact her on multiple phone numbers and iCloud accounts.
She also claimed Payne would regularly talk badly about his ex-bandmates behind their backs.
“Also, talking s**t about your bandmates and showing up to their concerts. But it’s always for your own benefit it’s not even because you wanna go support,” she shared. “You wanna go stand up there and take the attention away from anyone.”
Payne has yet to respond to any of the claims made by Henry.
Her remarks come after Payne was ridiculed on social media after she showed up at Niall Horan’s latest concert.
In a video shared on social media, Payne was seen dancing and singing for a group of screaming fans below his private box at the show.
“Remember when Harry stayed under the radar when he went to Niall’s show meanwhile Liam…..” remarked one person, labelling his behaviour “cringe”.
“And people still think there’s gonna be a 1d reunion and world tour,” commented another fan.
