ASL interpreter steals show at Lollapalooza

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s smash single WAP has garnered a lot of attention — and caught a lot of flack — for being sexually explicit since the 2020 release of the naughty accompanying video.

But now the raunchy lyrics are turning heads once again.

An American Sign Language interpreter stood by Megan’s side during an August 1 performance at the Lollapalooza music festival to translate the song for those who are hearing-impaired.

A fan shared a clip of the performance with a video showing the ASL interpreter making very NSFW hand gestures as she signed the song. Brace yourself before you watch the clip below:

“EXCUSE ME BUT THE SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER DURING MEGAN’S PERFORMANCE OF WAP MUST BE SEEN,” the user excitedly wrote alongside the clip, which has been viewed over 803,000 times.

The portion of the lyrics that the user caught was, “I don’t wanna spit, I wanna gulp/I wanna gag, I wanna choke/I want you to touch that little dangly dang/That swang in the back of my throat.”
