Cardi B listed as a suspect for battery after throwing microphone at fan mid-concert

Rapper Cardi B has been reported to police by a fan who she allegedly struck with a microphone at a gig in Las Vegas.

Cardi B is listed as a suspect for battery after throwing her microphone at a concertgoer in Las Vegas.

Footage of the incident shows the WAP rapper, 30, chucking her mic into the crowd in retaliation to an audience member who threw their drink at her while she was performing at Drai’s Beachclub on Saturday.

Page Six has learned that the woman she struck while performing Bodak Yellow went to the cops after the show.

The publication was reportedly told the concertgoer walked into the Las Vegas police station on Sunday to report the incident, which was caught on camera by several other fans in the crowd.

Police tell us no arrests or citations have been issued at this time. However, TMZ reports that Cardi was named as a suspect.

In a viral video posted to TikTok, the reveller could be seen pulling a decorated white cup from the crowd and splashing the contents on the Grammy winner.

A visibly shocked Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, immediately snapped by pelting her mic at the unruly attendee.

It was not immediately clear from initial footage whether she hit the perpetrator, or another concertgoer.

However, additional clips of the performance show Cardi shouting inaudibly at the drink flinger as security swooped in to remove them from the venue.

The rapper’s army of loyal fans quickly took to the comments section of various TikTok videos to show their support for the hitmaker.

“Like girl, you not listening to the lyrics? She ain’t playing wit u,” one person wrote.

“Now they know, of all celebs, to not try that with Cardi B. Cardi was locked in!!!!,” another TikTok user chimed in, referencing the spate of incidents in which fans have thrown objects at artists on stage.

Last month, Bebe Rexha was hit in the eye by a phone during her New York City show, while Pink was bizarrely given a bag containing a concertgoer’s mother’s ashes while performing in London.

As Page Six previously reported, this wasn’t Cardi’s first time throwing her microphone out of frustration.

On Friday night, the Up rapper threw a mic in the DJ’s direction when she finished performing I Like It at Drai’s Nightclub.

In the comments section of a video posted to TikTok, fans speculated that she lashed out at the disc jockey after he continuously cut her tracks short during her performance.
