Singer Bebe Rexha has shown off the gruesome result of being hit in the head by a phone mid-show, which saw her knocked to the ground.
Bebe Rexha has updated fans with photos of her injuries after being rushed to hospital.
The singer was taken for treatment after being hit in the face by a phone during a concert on Sunday.
Bebe, 33, performed at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City yesterday but cut her performance short after being struck by a mobile phone, reports The Sun.
She was hit in the face at approximately 10pm, WABC reported.
Bebe has now posted two new photos on Instagram of her injuries, along with the caption: “I’m good.”
In the first picture, the star gave the camera a thumbs up and a small smile but sported heavy bruising around her eye and medical tape on her brow.
The second photo seemed to have been taken immediately after the incident, with Bebe still wearing glittery stage makeup.
The image showed her eye beginning to swell, with a cut running straight through her eyebrow.
Police have arrested and charged Nicolas Malvagna, 27, from Manalapan, New Jersey, with assault in connection to the events.
Malvagana was quickly identified and charged with felony assault, with an arraignment set for Monday afternoon.
Fans in the comment section rushed to support the star, with one writing: “You did not deserve that, OMG I’m glad you’re okay.”
Twitter user Alex Chavez shared a video that shows Rexha falling to the ground after being struck by a phone.
He wrote: “Absolutely great show ruined by a fan throwing their phone at @BebeRexha hopefully she is OK after that.”
Concertgoer Ross Bernaud also tweeted a video of the star exiting the stage following the shocking incident.
He wrote: “This is Bebe Rexha being rushed out of the concert venue here in NYC after someone threw a f**king phone and hit her face as she was leaving the stage.
“We were all having a hell of a good time and so was Bebe, we were all having a blast, I mean who would even do that??? We hope you’re OK.”
“Bebe Rexha’s mother reveals that she had to get three stitches after someone in the audience threw a phone at her head during her concert,” Pop Base tweeted after the incident.
According to Bebe’s website, there are eight shows left in the Best F’n Night of My Life tour.
The next performance, in Philadelphia, is due to take place on Tuesday.
However, Bebe and her team have yet to confirm whether the scheduled concerts will go ahead as planned.
