Anthony Rapp, Star Trek: Discovery actor, publicly accused Spacey of making sexual advances on him in the 1980s, when the star was only 14-years-old.

According to the lawsuit, Rapp “sustained psychological injuries” and “emotional and psychological damage” from the abuse, and suffered “severe emotional distress, humiliation, fright, anger, depression and anxiety.”

Spacey denied all allegations, and soon after came out as gay.

“I’m beyond horrified to hear his story. I honestly do not remember the encounter … But if I did behave as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour,” he said in a statement on social media.

“As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man.”

In total, more than 30 men claimed that they had been victims of Kevin’s unwanted advances.

He was stripped of an International Emmy Award and his acclaimed Netflix series House of Cards killed off his central character as they axed him from the show.
