Kevin Spacey has resurfaced on social media after sharing a strange new video — but the reaction has been very mixed.

Kevin Spacey has resurfaced in a bizarre new video to share a holiday message: Kill them with kindness.

The Oscar winner — who has been embroiled in a sexual assault scandal — sat in front of a fireplace in the Christmas Eve video to dish out advice on dealing with critics, Page Six reports.

“I’m dead serious. And it’s not that hard. The next time someone does something you don’t like, you can go on the attack or you can also hold your fire and do the unexpected. You can kill them with kindness,” he said in the same distinct Southern drawl as his most recent character, Frank Underwood from House of Cards.

But his sudden return to social media — it’s his first post since Christmas Day 2018 — has divided followers.

“I’ve missed you,” one said, while others wished Spacey a “Merry Christmas”.

One wrote: “This is the Christmas present nobody deserved but we all needed.”

“Return of a legend,” another said.

Some however weren’t impressed with the actor’s post, writing: “WTF.”

“I don’t know what ‘s going on but if you are seeking a comeback I’m not sure this is the right way,” one said.

“I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life,” another declared.

Spacey has been accused by more than a dozen men of sexual misconduct. But in July, prosecutors dropped criminal charges against him involving an 18-year-old man who claimed the actor groped him at a Nantucket bar.

Meanwhile, a massage therapist who sued Spacey for sexual assault died in September.

Despite his fall from grace, Spacey appeared to suggest in the new video that he wasn’t disappearing from the public eye.

“You didn’t really think I was going to miss the opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas, did you?” the actor said.

“It’s been a pretty good year.”

The embattled actor shared a Christmas video last year in which he appeared to defend himself against the allegations — again in character as Underwood.

“Of course, some believed everything and have been just waiting with bated breath to hear me confess it all,” Spacey said.

“They’re just dying to have me declare that everything said is true and that I got what I deserved. Only you and I both know it’s never that simple, not in politics and not in life.”
