‘Very hurt’: Lindsay Lohan slams Mean Girls remake

She makes a cameo in the new movie, but now Lindsay Lohan has announced she’s “very hurt and disappointed” by the finished product.

Lindsay Lohan thinks the new Mean Girls movie is, well, a little too mean.

The actress’ rep told the Messenger today that Lohan, 37, was “very hurt and disappointed” by the use of “fire crotch” – an insult that was famously hurled against her by heir Brandon Davis in the early aughts – in the film’s script.

A source also told the outlet that the Parent Trap star was “surprised and taken aback” when she first heard the reference at the New York City premiere of the movie.

Lohan, who played Cady Heron in the original hit flick and makes a cameo in the musical version, walked the hot pink carpet that night wearing a stunning Alexandre Vauthier black gown with cutouts and a crystal band.

She seemed in good spirits and even took time for some interviews before reportedly being caught off guard later by the rehashing of the off-colour remark her nemesis once said.

In 2006, Davis, now 45, went viral when he walked out of a nightclub with sisters Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, and went on a rant with paparazzi about Lohan’s vagina, calling it “stinky,” “orange” and infamously dubbing it a “fire crotch.”

Paris, who was frenemies with the Freaky Friday star at the time, was seen cackling over the nasty jokes, further fuelling a years-long feud between the two women that lasted until recently.

In January 2022, the Paris In Love star, now 42, finally said “everything was all good” between her and Lohan, noting that they were both “grown ups now.”

However, it appears that Davis’ old words still sting, and Lohan’s longtime friend and the screenwriter of the old and new Mean Girls movies, Tina Fey, did not give the new mum a heads up.

In the scene in question, rapper Megan Thee Stallion appears via a TikTok video in front of a photo of the actress who plays the new Cady Heron, Angourie Rice, who – like Lohan – is a redhead in the film.

“OK, so somebody sent me this look and I was like, ‘Hot girls, we are going back red, Y2K fire crotch is back,’” the rapper, 28, then says.

Page Six has reached out to Fey’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
