Keira Maguire and Kris Smith eliminated from I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

AFTER being sent packing from I’m A Celebrity, Kris Smith revealed he is back with his ex Maddy King, but “it’s complicated”.

KRIS Smith has all but confirmed he is back together with his ex, model Maddy King.

Speaking to News Corp after his surprise elimination from I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here, the 38-year-old described his love life as “complicated”.

“I am talking with my ex (Maddy). We’ve had a couple of conversations about certain things,” the Myer ambassador said.

“I’m still single, kind of, it is complicated.”

Smith and Bachelor reality star Keira Maguire were tonight sent packing from the South African jungle in a double elimination leaving nine celebrities in the camp going into the sixth and final week of the reality show.

Before going on the show, Smith said he was single but it was revealed in camp that he is back with his ex.

“I’ve always been kind of open about my love life, although I am a very secretive person usually I am very honest also,” he said.

While Smith has tipped singer Casey Donovan to win the series, Maguire would like to see three-time Olympian Lisa Curry take the title.

The winner will be crowned King or Queen of the jungle and secure $100,000 for their chosen charity.

“Casey is an incredibly young girl. She has got an amazing talent,” Smith said, Maguire adding of Curry: “I feel like you don’t get to see enough of Lisa, she’s got so many stories to tell and she just for me is a champion, a legend and needs to win 100 per cent. If Lisa doesn’t win I will be pissed.”

Maguire entered the jungle show as an intruder a couple of weeks in to the series, instantly ruffling feathers with her outgoing personality.

She particularly didn’t get on with radio shock jock Steve Price, who struggled claiming she wasn’t a legitimate celebrity.

“Steve has short man syndrome, where he is just really angry all the time,” she said. “He just had something against me from the day I walked in there. I wouldn’t put up with it and he didn’t like that I stood up for myself.

More generally, she said some of her fellow celebrities accused her of acting on the show.

“I actually had a lot of people question who I was in there, which really irritated me because I am so authentic with everything that I do,” she said. “It kept coming up with everything I do, even Kris saying I was fake crying and stuff. Why would I fake cry? That is just not who I am. I can’t help it if I have emotions and I am raw and that is what it was.”

As for her love life, the former Bachelor contestant said, “I am very single and that is how I want to be at the moment”.
