Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough host surprise commitment ceremony
TV star Karl Stefanovic and fiancee Jasmine Yarbrough sealed their love with a top-secret commitment ceremony in Sydney yesterday.

TV star Karl Stefanovic and fiancee Jasmine Yarbrough sealed their love with a top-secret commitment ceremony in Sydney yesterday.
The event, held at a private house in Palm Beach, was attended only by immediate family and their closest friends.
After the ceremony, Today host Stefanovic told The Sunday Telegraph: “We are very much in love. We clicked right from the start.
“It’s a commitment ceremony. It was lovely.”
Commitment ceremonies, most famously seen on TV’s Married At First Sight, often involve the exchange of vows and rings, but they are not legally binding.
Among the guests were Stefanovic’s youngest children Ava, 13, and River, 11, who were surprised by the ceremony. Karl’s eldest son Jackson, 18, did not attend.
Peter Stefanovic and wife Sylvia Jeffreys, who both work with Karl at Channel 9 joined the festivities.
Yarbrough’s family, including sister Jade and parents Cheryl and Bob, were also at the luxury $13 million compound owned by Rob Rankin, a lieutenant of James Packer and former chairman of Crown Resorts, and his wife Paula. The home is frequently used to host the swankiest parties in Palm Beach.
Stefanovic’s Today buddy Richard Wilkins and executive producer Mark Calvert also attended. Stefanovic will be off air for a week and the couple are expected to honeymoon in the South Pacific.
Stefanovic, 43, and Yarbrough, 34, who have been together for about a year, were engaged a month ago.
The ceremony comes after Stefanovic and his former wife of 21 years Cassandra Thorburn finalised their divorce last year, after splitting in 2016, with the TV host leaving with little more than his beloved Mercedes.
Their split has been bitter and she recently said Stefanovic was “dead to her’’.
Victoria Buchan, Nine’s director of publicity and communications, confirmed the event, offering the network’s congratulations.
She said: “Everyone at Nine wishes Karl and Jasmine happiness and good heath for the future.”
A besotted Karl has previously spoken affectionately of his new “wife”.
“There’s a lot of love in my life,” he said in an interview in October last year.
“She’s a very strong and passionate person.”
