Holly Valance gives birth to baby girl Luka Violet Toni Candy

HOLLY Valance has given birth to a baby girl.

The former Neighbours star, 30, and her husband Nick Candy, 40, welcomed Luka Violet Toni into the world a few days ago.

Candy told Britain's The Telegraph he included Toni in his daughter's name as a tribute to his late father who died six weeks ago.

"It is such a shame that dad died six weeks before Luka was born, but I had the best role model possible in him, so, hopefully, if I can be anything like the father he was to me, when it comes to raising Luka, we'll be onto a winner."

"Her nickname will be LuLu but if she ever goes into business LuLu Candy doesn't quite work," he said.

He said Valance planned to be a hands on mum.

"Holly is at home. We aren't having any help at the moment. Holly doesn't want any; she wants to do it all ourselves at this stage.
"She is a perfect mother. It was a natural birth. She is from a big Australian family, with younger siblings, so she knows exactly what she is doing."

The pair tied the knot in September 2012 in a lavish Beverly Hills ceremony.
