Celebrities have hit the red carpet for the London premiere of the Game of Thrones prequel, where one star turned heads in a daring gown.
Stars of the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon have hit the red carpet for the London premiere.
The HBO fantasy series hosted a special screening at Leicester Square, as buzz for the $300 million series hits fever pitch a week out from its global debut, airing locally on Binge and Foxtel August 22.
While she may not feature in the show, UK singer Tallia Storm managed to steal the spotlight in a daring black gown.
The 23-year-old social media influencer commanded attention in a tight-fitting, cut-out frock as she posed for photographers at the star-studded premiere.
Elsewhere, Australian actress Milly Alcock, who plays the young version of lead character Rhaenyra Targaryen, looked breathtaking in a black tulle creation.
The 23-year-old breakout star from Sydney complimented her stunning gown with a diamond choker, a bold pink lip and loose waves.
Meanwhile, British actress Olivia Cooke, who plays Alicent Hightower, was ravishing in red velvet.
The red carpet even got the royal treatment, with Lady Amelia Windsor – the cousin of Princes William and Harry – making a special appearance.
Co-stars Emma D’Arcy, Emily Carey and Matt Smith were also among the special guests.
The 10-part series is set 200 years before the events of Thrones, and centres on the rise and fall of House Targaryen.
It’s based on chapters from author George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire companion book, Fire & Blood, during a civil war dubbed ‘Dance of the Dragons’.
This particular era in Westeros history is when the Targaryen family – Daenerys’ ancestors – reigns supreme, with 17 dragons at their disposal.
King Viserys Tagaryen (Paddy Considine) serves as peaceful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, but tensions flare over his successor, with his daughter Rhaenyra (D’Arcy) and his brother Daemon (Smith) both eager to be heir.
