A sea of stars attended the launch party for Australia’s newest transformative TV technology, Hubbl.
Hosted by the Foxtel Group, the likes of Hamish Blake and Andy Lee walked the blue carpet at the event held at the iconic Fleet Steps on Mrs Macquaries Point at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney.
The duo were among the many to celebrate the launch of Hubbl, the innovative TV technology designed to make streaming easier, with both local and global apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Paramount+ and BINGE all available on one easy-to-use interface.
Among the other guests were TV personalities such as Bay of Fires actress Marta Dusseldorp, Heartbreak High star Chika Ikogwe, and Tasma Walton, who is currently filming the highly anticipated Season 2 of the Foxtel drama The Twelve.
Media heavyweights Richard Wilkins and Belinda Russell from Nine were also on hand to celebrate, along with former news presenter Jessica Rowe, who went with her daughter Allegra.
There were reality TV and lifestyle personalities in the mix too, including Real Housewives of Sydney stars Sally Obermeder and Caroline Gaultier, Selling Houses expert Andrew Winter, and The Block’s Mitch and Mark.
Adding some spice to the event was social media personality Sabrina Treffiletti and comedian Joel Creasey, as well as sporting stars Braith Anasta and Brett Lee.
The Foxtel Group and Hubbl are no doubt thrilled with the turn out and equally delighted to launch the product that promises to change the TV and streaming experience.
“Hubbl will effortlessly fuse free and paid entertainment and sport from Australia’s favourite apps, channels, live TV and the internet into one seamless user experience,” Patrick Delany, CEO of Hubbl, said in a statement.
“Hubbl is only as good as the breadth and depth of apps integrated onto the platform to ensure a truly converged streaming experience and in removing frustration when it comes to the choice of what to watch. It’s a huge testament to the transformative Hubbl technology that these world-class and much loved local partners have chosen to reshape the streaming experience with us. The future of TV and streaming is here.”
Hubbl will be available at Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi stores nationwide. Hubbl Glass will be available exclusively at Harvey Norman. On-sale date for Hubbl will be announced soon.
