The newest transformative TV technology has launched in Australia. Here are the fabulous features it offers.
The newest transformative TV technology has launched in Australia, with viewers now able to own a device specially designed to enhance the streaming experience.
Hubbl is a world-leading entertainment operating system that fuses the best local and global entertainment apps, sports, video on demand (VOD), live channels and internet into one user interface.
The device, which plugs into any compatible TV, was official launched by the Foxtel Group* this evening at an exclusive party on the Fleet Steps on Mrs Macquaries Point in the Botanic Gardens of Sydney.
It was revealed Hubbl will be available in Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi retail stores nationally and via its own digital shopfront Hubbl.com.au. The on-sale date for Hubbl will be announced soon.
Users can also purchase Hubbl Glass – a high-quality TV offering 4K Ultra HD Quantum Dot Display, hands-free voice control to find content at your command, and six speakers built-in for 360° Dolby Atmos surround sound.
The best bit? You only require an internet connection and a power cord – no other wires and no aerial required. Hubbl Glass will be available exclusively at Harvey Norman.
“Hubbl stands out from the pack by offering live TV without an aerial, seamless subscription management at the touch of a button, more discoverability and personalisation as well as allowing customers to stack up to five eligible streaming apps and save up to $15 per month on their subscriptions,” says Les Wigan, Managing Director of Hubbl.
“With the major free and paid apps available on Hubbl and more to come, there is nothing like the world of entertainment it unlocks.”
Dani Simpson, Executive Director of Hubbl, adds: “Hubbl is a unique product that simplifies the TV and streaming experience so you can spend less time searching for something to watch and more time enjoying the content you love.”
Days ago, it was also revealed that the handy device will house both global streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Paramount+, as well as video sharing platform YouTube.
Local streaming apps are also available on Hubbl include BINGE, Kayo Sports, Stan, Optus Sport and Flash, as well as much-loved free streaming apps including ABC iView and ABC Kids, SBS On Demand, 7plus, 9Now and 10 Play.
LifeStyle, a new streaming app that brings together the best lifestyle content, will also launch on the platform.
“Hubbl is only as good as the breadth and depth of apps integrated onto the platform to ensure a truly converged streaming experience and in removing frustration when it comes to the choice of what to watch,” says Patrick Delany, CEO of Hubbl.
“It’s a huge testament to the transformative Hubbl technology that these world-class and much loved local partners have chosen to reshape the streaming experience with us. The future of TV and streaming is here.”
