British TV personality Chloe Burrows has hit back after her racy red carpet outfit at the National Television Awards landed her on a worst-dressed list.
The former Love Island and Celebs Go Dating reality star, 27, didn’t take it lying down when the Daily Mail included her among its list of the “worst-dressed stars at the NTAs.”
The outlet declared that Burrows’ sheer, cut-out gown landed her among the celebs who “unfortunately failed to set the red carpet alight with their style choices.”
But Burrows hit back when the Daily Mail tweeted the story, including a photo of her alongside several other alleged red carpet offenders.
“Worst dressed my arse I look f**king great,” she tweeted in response.
Others rushed to agree with Burrows, but one person was on the Daily Mail’s side: “let’s be honest it’s a bit trashy for the ntas,” they wrote.
“What did you wear let’s see,” Burrows quipped.
Top winners at the awards, which recognise achievement in British television, included multiple gongs for long-running soap EastEnders and a special recognition award for Happy Valley actress Sarah Lancashire, presented to her by Sir Ian McKellen.
In one award upset, popular UK brekkie show This Morning lost the Daytime Award for the first time in 13 years, with The Repair Shop winning instead.
It comes after This Morning weathered a scandal in recent months, with longtime co-host Phillip Schofield departing the show after an affair with a young staffer on the show was publicly exposed.
