Love Island star deletes photo holding plate with white powder
Love Island star turned influencer Cassidy McGill posted a photo holding a plate with a white powder on it that she has since deleted.
An Australian reality star turned influencer has been photographed holding a plate with a bag of white powder and two lines.
Love Island Australia star Cassidy McGill posted, then swiftly deleted, the snap to Instagram Stories on Wednesday night – but the photo is now being widely circulated on social media after being shared by Influencer Updates AU.
In the image, McGill – who appeared on season 1 of the popular dating show – can be seen sat on the floor in a pair of blue jeans with a white plate perched on her knee.
News.com.au has contacted McGill for comment.
On the plate two lines of a white powder are clearly visible alongside a small bag containing more of the same mystery substance.
McGill also appears to have a rolled note in her right had.
“Ooops, see you tomorrow,” she captioned the image before promptly deleting it.
After initially being shared by popular watchdog account Influencer Updates AU with McGill’s face cropped out, it has since been picked up by gossip account So Dramatic!
“Love Island’s Cassidy McGill has shared her White Christmas with fans,” the photo was captioned, prompting a flurry of angry responses from fans.
Some questioned whether McGill’s recent paid brand collaborations with Bondi Sands and Amazon Prime would be affected.
“That’s just disappointing,” one wrote.

As another said the snap was reminiscent of Nadia Bartel’s white powder scandal in 2021.
The former WAG, who was married to AFL star Jimmy Bartel for five years before separating in August 2019, was caught snorting white powder off a Kmart plate at an illegal party during Melbourne’s harsh lockdown.
She quickly apologised for the “embarrassing” clip which was accidentally posted to Facebook by a friend.
