Madonna’s daughter Lourdes in near-nude red carpet outing

She’s a not-so-much-Material Girl.
Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon freed the nipple in a sheer metal mesh dress on the star-studded pink carpet at the Victoria’s Secret World Tour fashion show screening this week.
Leon rocked a scandalous style from wildly popular Ukrainian designer Natalia Fedner, who has created equally edgy looks for Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Kylie Jenner, Kim Petras and Lenny Kravitz.
Styled by Rita Melssen — who also dresses the Queen of Pop — the 26-year-old ditched her bra for the evening, layering the daring dress over a simple black G-string.
“Lola has always exuded strength,” Fedner tells Page Six Style exclusively of Leon’s “spiderweb” style, which she crafted by hand from iridescent copper chains.
“It’s a stunning colour up close — like a prismatic oil-spill stain on black cement,” the designer continued.
“The whole look oozes fierce confidence. She dresses for herself — she wears what she wants to, what makes her feel excited.”
Fedner’s “metal couture” costs between $US1,500 and $US4,000 per piece, as each takes several weeks to complete; she also offers chainmail-style jewellery for under $US500.
“I invented this material about six years ago … it has this ability, no matter what you put it on top of, to take on its shape,” Fedner told Page Six Style in 2021.
Leon’s look proved polarising on social media; after the Instagram account Fashion Bomb Daily shared a snap of the ensemble, several users thought she looked “uncomfortable,” while another critiqued her posing skills, writing, “If you do decide to wear this? Wear it with your chest! Stand up straight, chin up and pose!”
Others defended her outfit; “I was young once; go off baby!” one Instagram user quipped, while a second asked, “Y’all mad she’s wearing lingerie to a lingerie fashion show?”
Much like her superstar mother, Leon’s never shied away from a skin-baring style statement, having posed practically nude for designer Dion Lee’s latest campaign and modelled a sheer lace catsuit for W earlier this year.
She’s also become somewhat of a New York Fashion Week fixture in recent years, having walked runways and popped up at plenty of afterparties — occasionally with Madonna in tow.
Here’s hoping they’ll share another mother/daughter moment out on the town this season.
