Tiffany Scanlon opens up about $3k plastic surgery ahead of Love Island appearance

FORMER Bachelor contestant and ex of Megan Marx, Tiffany Scanlon has revealed she went under the knife in the lead up to her TV return during the premiere of Love Island.

MEGAN Marx’s former partner, Tiffany Scanlon, has debuted her new face following a slew of plastic surgery procedures.

The former Bachelor contestant has become a poster girl for Peth’s Absolute Cosmetic Medicine, posting a photo of herself with an extensive Q & A about the work she got done in the lead up to the Premiere of Love Island, when a commercial she filmed for the brand will air.

According to her post, which includes two shots of her face post-treatment, Scanlon had botox and fillers injected into different areas of her face. She says she had “4ml of filler spread over my cheek bones, lips and chin. Then Botox to my forehead, brow, mandible and crows feet …[and] filler in my tear troughs. This helps with those black under eye bags.”

The total cost for the plastic surgery was approximately $3,000, with Scanlon breaking down the various costs for each individual treatment.

“Botox is $299 per area. Fillers cost $600+ per 1ml depending on the product used (I had Juvederm in my lips and Voluma in my cheeks/chin). As I said though, there are a lot of variables so best to make an inquiry,” she writes.

She also outlined the long term risks that can come with undergoing the procedures, writing “with a good nurse or doctor you will minimise the risks and you will have natural looking results. But yes, there are risks involved.

“The complications can be filler blindness or Necrosis (death of skin), both of which can be treated if you go to a practice where they are qualified enough to recognise it and have an on-site Doctor to treat it right away.”

Doing her duty as brand ambassador, she made sure to dispel any doubt that there might be better treatments out there, proclaiming “I don’t care what any celebrity or skin therapist tells you, nothing achieves the same result as botox and filler and in the end it will cost you less than all those anti-wrinkle creams/treatments.”

Scanlon first found fame as a contestant on Richie’s season of The Bachelor. She caused a stir when, upon leaving the show, she began dating fellow contestant Megan Marx in October 2016. The pair broke up the following year in March, citing the pressures of public life as responsible for the split.

Megan has since gone on to be a Bachelor in Paradise contestant where she found love with Jake Ellis, while Scanlan is trying to hold on to some semblance of relevance with appearances in plastic surgery commercials.
