Taylor Swift fears she could become target of retaliation after Charlie Kirk’s murder
Concern has reportedly grown among Taylor Swift and her team that the pop star could become a target following Charlie Kirk’s death.
Taylor Swift is reportedly concerned about falling victim to someone seeking retribution for the death of Charlie Kirk.
Kirk, a US right-wing influencer, was shot in the neck while speaking at an event in Utah on September 10. 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has since been arrested over the shooting.
Swift garnered attention on Sunday when she was seen hiding behind what is believed to have been a bulletproof screen as she snuck into the Arrowhead Stadium to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to an insider close to Swift, there are fears within her camp that she could become a potential target following Kirk’s death, as an outspoken liberal.

“If someone is going to do a tit-for-tat for Charlie Kirk, Taylor is a pretty logical choice,” the insider told Daily Mail.
“They used the screen to keep her safe. They have used that screen before, but usually it is for the President or someone like that, not a celebrity. But this was a weird week.”
Kirk spoke about Swift just days before his death, remarking on her recent engagement to Kelce.
“This is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative,” he said, before adding that the singer should “submit” to her future husband.
Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that Robinson left a note under his keyboard for his roommate to read after the fatal shooting, according to text messages between the pair.

In a press conference on Tuesday local time, Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray read out a string of text messages between Robinson and his roommate, who is transgender and was in a romantic relationship with Robinson. The roommate has been identified by the New York Post as Lance Twiggs, 22.
On the day of the shooting, Robinson messaged his roommate: “Drop what you’re doing, look under my keyboard.”
Under the keyboard, Robinson left a note which read: “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I’m going to take it.”
The roommate replied: “What?????????????? You’re joking, right????”
“I am still ok my love, but am stuck in orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you,” Robinson messaged back, court documents show.
When the roommate asked “you weren’t the one who did it right????” Robinson replied: I am, I’m sorry.”
