Pregnant Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew has declared “life too short” in her latest selfie, proudly displaying her bump in a two-piece bikini.

Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew has declared “life too short to sweat the bumps” in her latest Instagram post — grinning in a bikini as she embraces her body at eight months pregnant.

The breakfast television star, who is expecting her second child with husband Neil Varcoe, posted two mirror selfies with a caption admitting wearing a bikini has been “a big deal” for her in the past.

In a sentiment many expectant mothers can relate to, Bartholomew began by calling herself “one of those women who is pregnant all over”.

“I am one of those women who is pregnant all over. Pregnant toes. Pregnant arms. Pregnant legs. Pregnant pigmentation face. Very pregnant belly,” she told her 216k followers.

Edwina is expecting her second child in weeks.

“It’s a big deal for me to wear a bikini but here I am. I’ve decided life is way too short to sweat the bumps, big and small,” she continued. “So this is me … eight months pregnant and about to pop.

“This costume is from @ripematernity. It was a gift, literally.

“I feel like some kind of 50s aqua musical star (if Esther Williams was pregnant and just allowed to float).

“You might see it too, buy that bikini and not give a flying [duck emoji] what anyone else thinks,” Bartholomew shared.

The Seven star implored others ‘not to give a flying duck’ what anyone thinks.

The candid post has been flooded with praise, with famous friends gushing over the glowing 38-year-old.

“Nothing more beautiful than a pregnant mummy. It’s all a gift,” wrote Today Extra star Sylvia Jeffreys, while radio star Ash London commented “Look how BEAUTIFUL you are”.

“You look amazing. You ALWAYS do!,” wrote Channel 9’s Belinda Russell.

Edwina and Neil are already parents to daughter Molly, who was born in December 2019.

The Channel 7 presenter announced her second pregnancy live on air back in August.

“In developing news, news that will be developing news, news that will be developing for the next six months, we will be having another baby,” she said at the time.

While the couple — who were married in 2018 — know the gender of their impending arrival, they have opted to keep it under wraps until after the birth.

Edwina heads on maternity leave from Sunrise later this month.
