Sam Frost makes huge personal announcement

“A wild ride”: The former Bachelor star-turned-actorss has shared some big news with her followers.

Sam Frost has revealed she is expecting her second child with fiance Jordie Hansen.

The 35-year-old and Hansen, 29, who was a contestant on Australian Survivor in both 2022 and 2023, are already parents to one-year-old son, Ted.

Frost took to Instagram on Monday to share a sweet picture of the three of them, all dressed in green, which featured her baby bump on full display.

“Our family is growing from three to four,” she wrote.

“It has been a wild ride but we are extremely grateful our little one is healthy and doing okay in there. We are all very excited to meet you, especially your big brother!”

While Frost didn’t reveal the baby’s due date, the caption indicated she was at least a “few months” along.

“Huge thank you to our family and friends for all their love and support over these past few months. We love you,” she concluded the post.

In July 2022, Frost revealed on her podcast that she and Hansen had become engaged when he proposed after they’d been dating for just five months.

The couple’s relationship had unusual origins: Hansen was a contestant on the same season of Australian Survivor as Frost’s younger brother Alex and her then-boyfriend, musician Jay Bruno. The pair even entered the game as a “blood” relative team, with Bruno speaking on-air about his relationship with Frost.

But by the time the season went to air, Bruno and Frost had parted ways – and Frost later started dating Hansen, who had played on the same season with his own brother.

The couple then moved in together in Melbourne, where Frost relocated after quitting Home And Away in late 2021.

The former Bachelor contestant – and later, Bachelorette star – opened up about her “difficult” pregnancy with her first child in an interview with Confidential on Nova earlier this year.

“To be honest, I have actually surprised myself,” she said on the radio show.

“I found pregnancy really difficult and I thought that would be perhaps a reflection on what is going to happen coming up, but to be honest I am actually a little more relaxed than I thought.”

Frost also gushed over her “fantastic” young son.

“He is honestly a dream baby, he is so happy, he is so chilled, he laughs all the time and thinks I am the greatest person in life,” she said.
