Sam Frost and Jordie Hansen reveal they’re expecting first baby

Sam Frost and her fiance have confirmed some big personal news, thanking their friends and family for being such good “secret keepers”.

Former Bachelor and Home And Away star Sam Frost has revealed overnight she’s expecting her first child with her fiance, Survivor contestant Jordie Hansen.

The loved-up pair both shared the same post to their Instagram accounts, with a photo showing them sharing a kiss in bed while Frost, 33, held up an ultrasound.

A video included in the post showed Hansen, 26, playing guitar while Frost appeared to improvise a song about her pregnancy.

“There is a tiny human coming soon … everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents odd sense of humour,” the couple wrote.

“We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously, and we’re hoping to teach our tiny one the same values we share … the importance of being unapologetically yourself, always finding the fun and humour in all the small things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower.”

The couple thanked their friends and family for being “excellent secret keepers,” and said they were “extremely excited and grateful for our tiny miracle”.

The loved-up pair got engaged after dating for five months.

Some high-profile Aussies have already rushed to offer the couple congratulations, with fellow Survivor star Samantha Gash writing: “Bravo ya cuties! Very exciting.”

“Just beautiful news Sam. Huge congrats,” said Lisa Wilkinson.

Back in July, Frost revealed on her podcast that she and Hansen had become engaged when he proposed after they’d been dating for just five months.

Sam’s brother Alex played on Survivor …

… alongside her then-boyfriend Jay Bruno.

The couple’s relationship has unusual origins: Hansen was a contestant on the same season of Australian Survivor as Frost’s younger brother Alex and her then-boyfriend, musician Jay Bruno. The pair even entered the game as a “blood” relative team, with Bruno speaking on-air about his relationship with Frost.

But by the time the season went to air, Bruno and Frost had parted ways – and Frost later started dating Hansen, who had played on the same season with his own brother.

The couple have since moved in together in Melbourne, where Frost moved after quitting Home And Away at the start of this year.
