Noah Cyrus calls out sister Miley Cyrus for shady interview: ‘The disrespect’

Noah Cyrus appears to have labelled her big sister Miley “disrespectful” after shady podcast interview resurfaces.

It seems the Cyrus family feud runs deep.

Noah Cyrus purportedly called her sister, Miley Cyrus, disrespectful in the comments section of a podcast interview that has resurfaced on TikTok, reports Page Six.

“the disrespect in this video …” the July singer, 23, wrote, per screenshots circulating on social media.

The clip in question showed Miley, 30, chatting with Joe Rogan about her siblings on The Joe Rogan Experience in September 2020.

The controversial podcaster, 56, asked his guest whether Noah’s experience growing up in her shadow had deterred her from chasing a career in Hollywood.

“You either go one way or the other,” the Midnight Sky singer replied, noting that her younger sibling “wants” a life in the spotlight.

“She’s got a record out that I love called The End of Everything … and it’s the most depressing EP you’ll ever listen to,” Miley went on.

“She’s 20 years old. She’s emo. She’s, like, an emo kid.”

Rogan asked whether Noah was “emo” because she grew up “on the road” with the Hannah Montana star.

“That’s what it is,” Miley responded.

“She has a song where she says, ‘My sister’s like sunshine / It’ll follow her wherever she goes / But I’m more like a rain cloud.’ You know, it’s like, she’s really got this idea of me,” she added.

The UFC commentator suggested that perhaps Noah should “go to the doctor,” to which Miley replied, “She is. We’re all at the doctor a lot.”

“She’s dealing with it. But she’s only 20, so I worry about her,” she concluded.

Fans were quick to theorise that Noah’s comment was linked to the apparent family feud surrounding their parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus’ divorce.

“She had three years to say something. She’s only saying this ’cause the family is divided between her mum and her dad,” one person tweeted, pointing out that the podcast is old.

“I’m confused … does she mean Joe was disrespectful or Miley or both? I feel like Miley was just being light/funny but also defending her like what,” another confused fan wrote.

Reps for the sisters did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Noah’s comment comes two months after Miley joined her half-siblings, Brandi Cyrus and Trace Cyrus, at Tish’s wedding to Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.

Noticeably absent from the Malibu nuptials were Noah and her brother, Braison Cyrus.

While Tish was saying “I do,” Noah shared Instagram posts of herself and Braison, 29, at Walmart, signalling drama among the Cyruses.

Tish, 56, filed for divorce from Billy Ray, 62 — with whom she shares Miley, Noah and Braison — in April 2022.

She had her eldest kids, Brandi and Trace, with her first husband, Baxter Neal Helson, and the Achy Breaky Heart singer adopted them in 1993.

Billy Ray has also moved on, marrying his fiancée, Firerose, earlier this week.
