New details surface after Carrie Bickmore’s partner Chris Walker exposes himself on Skype
Concerning new details have emerged following reports Carrie Bickmore’s partner Chris Walker accidentally exposed himself to ABC colleagues.
Stunned ABC staff saw close-up images of Carrie Bickmore’s partner’s private parts after he stripped naked for a shower and forgot to turn off his camera following a work Skype call.
Chris Walker, an executive producer on the ABC’s The Weekly, was naked for up to two minutes at the end of a call on May 17 with about nine members of the program’s production team.
As he stripped off his pyjamas in the bathroom in preparation for a shower, ABC control room workers were flashed close-up images of his genitals, according to the Herald Sun.
Despite conflicting reports, a spokesperson for Walker told news.com.au: “Chris was undressing to get into the shower.”
An ABC spokesperson told news.com.au that staff members who were on the call have been offered counselling.
They said the incident was “unintentional”.

An anonymous ABC employee on Tuesday told the Herald Sun incident had exposed obvious “double standards” with their employer.
“You’re not allowed plastic bottles in the building but the nude guy is on the screen but that’s hilarious,” they said.
“The reason we are all concerned about it is [because] the ABC are moral preachers.”
The staffer felt that the matter had been dealt with lightly due to Mr Walker’s company being a key client of the ABC.
In addition to using several ABC employees for production, it produced the programs The Weekly, Hard Quiz and Today Tomorrow.
The employee believes if an ABC worker had exposed themselves on a Skype call, “they would never be allowed to set foot in the place again”.
“If it was Karl Stefanovic it would be a different story … the ABC are quick to jump on everyone else,” they said.
Mr Walker, who shares two children with Gold Logie winner Carrie Bickmore, is currently enjoyed an extended holiday in Europe with the family.
It’s understood Walker has been calling into work meetings via Skype.
“The ABC is aware of an unintentional incident which occurred involving the production team for The Weekly,” a spokesman said after news of the incident broke.
“The ABC is in regular communication with the relevant team members and are in the process of developing strategies to ensure an incident of this nature does not occur again.
“The ABC has a counselling service available to all ABC employees which has been offered in this instance.”
It is not the first time that Mr Walker has accidentally exposed himself on a call.

Ms Bickmore explained on her Carrie & Tommy radio show back in November that her partner had walked in “with his bits out” while she was conducting an interview on Zoom, while other journalists around the world were watching.
“Full-frame in the corner [of the screen] was Chris with his meat and veg, just standing there for the entire world’s press to see,” Ms Bickmore said.
She added they later laughed for 45 minutes straight after she told her partner what he had inadvertently done.
