The best Zoom fails ever: 'I'm not actually a cat Judge. Yes, I can see that'

ABC staff have been offered counselling after Carrie Bickmore’s partner accidentally exposed himself to colleagues on a Skype call.

Chris Walker, who shares two children with the Gold Logie winner, is reported to have stripped naked while the camera was still on, with his full body on show.

Walker, an executive producer on the ABC’s The Weekly, was naked for as long as two minutes, the Herald Sun reported of the May 17 incident.

Despite conflicting reports, a spokesperson for Walker told news.com.au: “Chris was undressing to get into the shower.”

An ABC spokesperson told news.com.au that staff members who were on the call have been offered counselling.

They said the incident was “unintentional”.

Walker and Bickmore are enjoying an extended break overseas in Europe, with Walker understood to be calling into meetings via Skype.

“The ABC is aware of an unintentional incident which occurred involving the production team for The Weekly,” a spokesman said.

“The ABC is in regular communication with the relevant team members and are in the process of developing strategies to ensure an incident of this nature does not occur again.

“The ABC has a counselling service available to all ABC employees which has been offered in this instance.”

Mr Walker’s TV production company, Thinkative Television, told the Herald Sun it was “clearly unintentional”.

“I know the ABC has checked in with their crew about it,” a Thinkative spokesman said.

“There are discussions ongoing about processes to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.”

It is not the first time that Mr Walker has accidentally exposed himself on a call.

Ms Bickmore explained on her Carrie & Tommy radio show back in November that her partner had walked in “with his bits out” while she was conducting an interview on Zoom, while other journalists around the world were watching.

“Full-frame in the corner [of the screen] was Chris with his meat and veg, just standing there for the entire world’s press to see,” Ms Bickmore said.

She added that they later laughed for 45 minutes straight after she told her partner what he had inadvertently done.
