Lara and Sam Worthington’s private photos leak online

More than 150 private photos of Lara and Sam Worthington have leaked online, apparently without the celeb couple’s permission.

Aussie celeb couple Lara and Sam Worthington have suffered an embarrassing privacy breach, as private photos of the pair were published online today.

Around 150 photos of the Worthingtons have been published across various websites without the couple’s permission, according to the Daily Mail. The photos appear to show the model, 31, and her 42-year-old Avatar actor husband on a family holiday.

The photo leak is likely to upset the celeb couple who keep a relatively low public profile nowadays. They married in an intimate ceremony in December 2014 witnessed by less than 10 family and friends.

After the wedding, Lara spoke of the couple’s desire to keep their sons Rocket and Racer out of the spotlight.

“Both Sam and I, we understand that it’s a by-product of our profession and that’s fine, but I think when you’re taking photos of my son without my permission, that’s when it’s unacceptable,” she said.

It’s not the first time Lara’s dealt with private photos being made public: In 2010, a compromising photo of her in the shower taken by footballer Brendan Fevola was splashed across the media after he sent it to teammates. The photo had been taken when the two had a brief affair in 2006.

“Actually, it’s gone way beyond an apology, and I would prefer not to speak to him,” she said of Fevola after the photo leak, calling on the AFL to take action against players who spread the image.

The Worthingtons are now US-based, having bought a Los Angeles home for an eye-watering $10.9 million last year. The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion sits high above Sunset Strip in LA’s Bird Streets neighbourhood.
