Kyle Sandilands reveals he almost became a father ‘three or four times’

In a candid interview, radio star Kyle Sandilands has confessed that he nearly became a father “three or four times”.

Radio personality Kyle Sandilands has candidly revealed he came close to being a dad on numerous occasions.

The KIIS FM shock jock opened up about his close calls with fatherhood on an upcoming episode of Mamamia’s No Filter podcast.

“I’ve been told before over the years by girlfriends, ‘I’m pregnant.’ It hasn’t gone anywhere, unfortunately,” he said, according to a preview of the episode in The Sydney Morning Herald.

“It’s probably happened three or four times. The girl I was with at the time decided it wasn’t the right time for us or it didn’t carry on to full term – I’ve had both and both are sad.”

Sandilands did not name the ex-girlfriends.

The 49-year old said despite not having a desire for children he has always supported partners who wanted kids.

He explained that he had doubts about parenthood because of his troubled childhood.

“You’ve both got to dedicate your life, you’ve got to not be selfish and you’ve got to not let that kid come second, that’s just not an option – because I was the kid that came second,” he said.

The broadcaster is currently dating his former personal assistant, 35-year-old Tegan Kynaston.

The Kyle and Jackie O host was previously married to Scandal’us singer Tamara Jaber for two years, and dated Instagram model Imogen Anthony for eight years.
