Two people with famous parents have been seen hanging out
The son of a famous Aussie couple and the daughter of another famous Aussie couple have been seen hanging out.
Famous people just know other famous people, and sometimes even their children date.
For instance, in 2022, there was a brief stint where actor Kate Hudson’s son Ryder was dating director Judd Apatow and actor Leslie Mann’s daughter Iris Apatow.
We might finally have an Australian version of that.
Eve, the 19-year-old daughter of Bachelor star Snezana Wood and the stepdaughter of fitness guru Sam Wood, was seen hanging out with another celebrity offspring, Ben Silvagni.
Ben, 24, is the son of AFL legend Steve Silvagni and infomercial star Jo Silvagni. He plays AFL for Collingwood.
The pair, rumoured to be dating, strolled around the Melbourne suburb Elsternwick with Ben’s chocolate Labrador puppy Lenny.
They kept things casual and very Melbourne — as they rugged up but somehow looked chic and not like they’d completely given up.
Eve wore a puffer jacket paired with Ugg boots and track pants, and Ben rugged up in a beanie and oversized jumper but got the legs out.
They haven’t done anything drastic, like announce they are dating, but there’s been some social media activity that suggests something is going on.
Ben posted a photo of Eve cuddling Lenny on his Instagram grid, but Eve, who has over 40,000 Instagram followers, hasn’t posted him on her Instagram grid.
While Ben enjoyed a more private upbringing, aside from his AFL career, Eve has been famous since she was a child.
Her mum Snezana was a contestant on The Bachelor in 2015 and ended up with the Bachelor. Eve met her stepdad for the first time during home visits on the show and was on a reality show when she was still in primary school.
After the reality show wrapped up, Eve and her mum relocated from Perth to Melbourne with Sam. Her mum and Sam got married in 2018 and have three children together.
Since then, her mum has amassed a social media empire with over 300,000 followers, and Wood has over 200,000 followers.
Despite their huge followings, they post about Eve as any proud parent does. On her 19th birthday, her mum wrote, “Our first born who we a so ridiculously proud of turned 19. It happened so fast!”
Similarly, when she attended her Year 12 high school formal the year before, Sam put up his own post about his stepdaughter and wrote, “So proud of you for the young woman you’re becoming.”
Sam has become a huge part of her life, but he told Now to Love that he doesn’t see himself as her step-parent.
“I am Eve’s dad. That’s how I feel. That’s how I act,” he said.
