Phil Collins’ ex-wife’s ‘outrageous’ claims cut from lawsuit in messy split

Phil Collins’ messy divorce has taken another twist after his ex wife claimed the Genesis musician refused to shower for a year.

Orianne Cevey’s “outrageous” claims about ex-husband Phil Collins’ mental health and hygiene will be struck from the former couple’s ongoing lawsuit over Collins’ Miami estate, a judge ruled on Wednesday afternoon.

Lawyers for Collins and Cevey appeared via Zoom to hash out the “scandalous” allegations against the In the Air Tonight crooner, 69, with Collins’ lawyers arguing that they were irrelevant to the legal dispute over the house.

“These are outrageous statements that I’m not going to repeat,” lawyer Brandon Carrington stated.

Mr Carrington requested the claims, which included impotence, poor hygiene and mental incompetence, be stricken with prejudice. The judge agreed.

The judge also ruled that Ms Cevey should sit for a deposition, which likely won’t take place until January.

A Rep for Cevey declined to comment and Collins rep didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Collins initially fired back at Cevey’s “scandalous” claims, calling them an attempt at extortion.

“Is the court going to hear evidence about the parties’ sex life or examine Phil Collins’ dental records, or get photographs of his wardrobe to decide if he verbally promised Mrs. Bates 50% of his Miami Beach mansion? Of course not.”

Collins and Cevey, 46, have been locked in a legal battle over the Miami manse since October. Cevey claims Collins once promised her 50 per cent of the $54 million estate, which Collins is trying to sell.

Collins and Cevey split again in July after Cevey sent a text message to Collins copping to an extramarital love affair; a month later, she secretly wed new husband Thomas Bates, 31.

Collins tried to evict them but now they’ve since agreed to move out of the house in January.
