New details emerge about Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares’ relationship after their split

New details have emerged about Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares’ recently- defunct relationship, as well as a bombshell claim.

Kyle Sandilands has confirmed a massive rumour about Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares’ relationship – and it completely alters their ‘fairytale romance’.

According to initial reports of how the pair met, Zac became enamoured with the Byron Bay beauty when she served him at a local cafe, with her boss first introducing them around July.

But, according to Kyle after Pedestrian TV spotted a curious detail on Vanessa’s Instagram, they were actually together for much longer before they split earlier this month.

In a further twist, another woman has claimed she dated Zac from April until July last year, suggesting he may have cheated on Vanessa – or at least that they’ve been on-and-off for a while.

Proof they’ve been together much longer than a few months

Speaking on KIIS FM this morning, Jackie O asked her co-host Kyle – who is good friends with the High School Musical star – to clarify a report by Pedestrian TV which suggested Zac and Vanessa have been romantically linked for as long as three years.

“Yes they’ve been together a lot longer than people realise,” Kyle confirmed.

Probing the shock jock about whether they met at The General Store in Byron Bay at all, Kyle added: “I don’t know where they met. I might have been told the story but I wouldn’t have cared.

“It’s been going for a little while … I don’t know exactly how long,” he said, adding that he “didn’t know” if it was indeed three years as the Pedestrian TV story speculated.

Last week, the publication shared an Instagram post of Vanessa at Behill, NSW, taken in December 2017, with the following caption: “Amongst the hills that roll through the villages, a fairytale place. The Village of Bexhill.”

Beneath the snap, a woman by the name of Debra Kelly wrote: “Take care god bless you and Zac xx.”

Clue Zac and Vanessa have been together for much longer than a few months.

The comment was made 162 weeks ago, which is over three years ago.

Zac spent some time in Australia in December 2017 for the premiere of The Greatest Showman, which is perhaps the real visit during which the pair met.

Though unconfirmed, this was around the same time he was rumoured to be dating his Baywatch co-star Alexandra Daddario.

Wild claim from anonymous woman

In yet another turn of events, a woman has come forward saying she had slept with the star “from April until July,” before reports of Zac and Vanessa’s romance blew up.

Responding to influencer Winnie Blues’ “confessions” series on her Instagram stories last month, the woman, who posted anonymously, wrote: “I was f***ing Zac Efron from April til July before anybody knew he was even in Australia.”

Winnie herself wrote beneath the confession: “Can confirm I know this person and it is true.”

In a second slide, she also provided some details about their fling, sharing that Zac is “all about pleasing the girl”, calling him “the nicest guy I have ever met”.

Why the headline-grabbing couple split

After The Daily Telegraph reported the Hollywood actor and Aussie waitress had split after 10 months, Kyle confirmed on radio the report was accurate and said he spoke to the Hairspray actor.

“It’s not a rumour, it’s true,” Kyle, who is friends with Zac, said about the split.

“It’s only recent, but not like yesterday recent, but they’ve gone their separate ways,” he said, adding there was “no drama” behind the break-up.

Instead, Kyle said the pair decided to end things due to Zac’s work schedule.

“They spent a lot of time with each other when he wasn’t working, lunching and living in the mansions on the beach; it’s a fabulous life,” Kyle said. “And then work comes back and kicks you straight back into reality, so it’s a shame.”

Zac is currently filming a Netflix show in Australia called Down To Earth With Zac Efron.

Kyle said he originally rang Zac to ask him about another rumour.

“I heard a rumour around, you know that Netflix show they’re going to do in Byron (Byron Baes) … there was a rumour around … that Zac was trying to pull strings to get Vanessa (Valladares) on that show,” the radio star said. “That’s what I rang him about.”

Kyle confirmed that rumour was completely false.

First reports of their ‘whirlwind romance’

Who magazine previously reported that Zac and Vanessa were set up by her manager at popular Byron Bay cafe, The General Store.

Apparently Vanessa was working as a waitress there as well as the Light Years restaurant when she met the hunky star back in July last year, with her boss playing matchmaker.

“They were introduced by her boss,” a source told Who.

Another insider told People that the pair “started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together”.
