After falling victim to break up rumours, Zac Efron’s Aussie girlfriend has flown to South Australia to visit the hunky actor on set of his new film.

Zac Efron and his Australian love Vanessa Valladares were recently victim to break up rumours.

However, the pair seem to be very much together, after photos of the two in South Australia emerged online this week.

The couple reunited on Thursday in South Australia, where Efron is filming his latest movie, Gold.

Efron, 33, showed off his huge bulging muscles while wearing a singlet, whereas the waitress, 25, showed off her toned body in activewear.

The sighting comes after The Sun reported that Zac had broken up with Vanessa after five months of dating.

Friends of the pair supposedly said “fate wasn’t on their side”, but it’s looking like the couple are making their own fate.

“Zac has been renting a place by the beach in Byron Bay and by ­September Vanessa was living with him there,” the insider explained.

“So once he decided to stay in Australia long term, he suggested they buy their first home. They’d started to look at a few places but, sadly, fate wasn’t on their side.”

Despite these claims, Vanessa showing up on set in SA suggests the couple are still dating.

It’s unclear whether or not the pair did split, or whether The Sun was wrong with their claims.

The Greatest Showman actor met Valladares at the General Store & Cafe around June this year.

It turns out the waitress/model has her boss to thank for introducing her to the hunky star.

As the story goes, the romance began at the Byron Bay General Store where Valladares was waiting tables and making coffee. It is understood Valladares’ boss first encouraged the pair to get to know each other, believing they’d hit it off.

“They were introduced by her boss,” a source told Who magazine.

Another source confirmed to People that the pair “started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together”.

“You can tell that they are having fun,” they said. “She spends a lot of time at his house.”

“Zac met Vanessa while she was an employee at the Byron Bay General Store & Cafe in June,” the source said.

“Things moved quickly, and Vanessa spends most nights at Zac’s house. They are both very smitten with each other.”

It’s understood Efron arrived in Australia just before international borders were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The star had spent some of the back end of 2019 in Australia after filming the series Killing Zac Efron in Papua New Guinea. During filming, Efron fell ill and was rushed to a hospital in Brisbane.

He then flew back to LA to spend Christmas with his family, but came back to Australia during the first half of this year.
