Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Camila Morrone spotted at beach together

The 45-year-old star was spotted in a rare public outing with his girlfriend of four years, model and actress Camila Morrone, 23.

Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio has been spotted enjoying a day at the beach with model girlfriend Camila Morrone.

The 45-year-old Titanic star and girlfriend Morrone, 23, have been together since 2017 but only made their public debut as a couple at this year’s Academy Awards.

Now they have been spotted at a secluded beach in Malibu.

Morrone defended the couple’s two decade-plus age gap in an interview in December last year. She was born in 1997, the same year a 23-year-old DiCaprio starred in Titanic.

“There’s so many relationships in Hollywood – and in the history of the world – where people have large age gaps,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”

In the same interview, model-turned-actress Morrone said she hoped her fledgling film career – she starred in arthouse film Mickey And The Bear last year – would eventually attract more attention than her very famous choice of boyfriend.

“I think more and more now that people are seeing the film, I’m slowly getting an identity outside of that,” she said. “Which is frustrating, because I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating.

“I understand the association,” she added, “but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation.”

Morrone is the latest in a string of younger models Leo has been linked with throughout his career, including Victoria’s Secret Angels Gisele Bündchen and Bar Refaeli, Erin Heatherton, Nina Agdal and Toni Garrn.

He gave a rare insight into why he hadn’t yet settled down in a 2014 interview with Esquire magazine, blaming his career.

“Six months of being on location or being off in Morocco or someplace like that, is not the best thing for a relationship,” he said.

The couple’s 2020 Oscars outing was the first time in 15 years that DiCaprio had brought a romantic date to an award show; he was joined by Gisele Bündchen at the Oscars in 2005.
